The original Pokémon Old Maid, or Pokémon Babanuki, card game from Pokémon Center Japan, featuring a colourful line-up of classic Pokémon including Pikachu, Gengar, Mew, Eevee, Squirtle, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Meowth, Ditto and more.

Originally released by Pokémon Center in 2019, this Japanese card game puts a Pokémon twist on the traditional Old Maid format. The deck contains 34 cards, with players forming matching pairs while trying not to finish the game holding the Gengar card. Some cards also introduce special effects that change the flow of the game.

The cards themselves have also become popular as individual Pokémon collectibles, with characters from the deck frequently collected and graded separately. Gengar is a particularly sought-after character from the set. The complete deck therefore works both as the original playable Pokémon Center game and as a source of distinctive Japanese Pokémon character cards for collectors.
