Released in 2021 as part of Pokémon’s 25th anniversary celebrations, this special Japanese Pikachu card features a gold-coloured mirror holofoil treatment and the distinctive blue-and-gold 25th anniversary logo beside the artwork. The illustration by Ryuta Fuse shows Pikachu in an energetic pose surrounded by a bright, softly illuminated natural scene. 

This version of Pikachu was included in the Japanese 25th Anniversary Golden Box, a commemorative Sword & Shield-era product containing a dedicated 15-card set. Card #003/015 was included as a four-copy card within the Golden Box deck.
